Products can be ordered by telephone using a valid credit / debit card. NHS or account holder orders can be made by telephone, email or fax.

Terms And Conditions

Prices : All prices quoted are in pounds sterling and excluding vat unless otherwise specified.
John Preston & Company reserves the right to change prices and to correct clerical errors without prior notice.

Zero rating vat

Vat zero rating is granted by HM Customs & Excise and therefore requires the completion of a simple declaration form informing of the claimants disability, which must be submitted at the time of purchase. Most of our customers will qualify for vat zero rating, however some of our products are not vat exemptable and vat will be charged as normal. Payment

Unless specifically agreed with our management; for special order goods i.e. goods which we do not hold in stock a deposit of minimum 30% full value of the invoice is requiredat the time of ordering and full payment of the balance must be made before delivery.
We accept all major credit cards & debit cards, cheques and bacs transfer. Please allow 5 working days for cheques to clear.

Security / Privacy

Your details are protected by the data protection act and will not be diclosed at any time to any third party. Payment details are kept securely and no credit card details will be held or stored anywhere.

Delivery

John Preston & Company aim to deliver all stock items within 5 working days of order; however non-stock goods or specialist custom made products can take up to 10 weeks delivery. You will be given an approximate delivery date at time of order.

Returns

We accept the return of products if they have been wrongly delivered, for example not the item you ordered or have a major defect. All boxes must be examined for damages at the time of delivery and noted on the delivery receipt. Damaged or incorrect goods deliveries must be reported directly to John Preston & Co within 48hrs of delivery and returned to us in secured original packaging. All bath safety products, toilet seats etc are non-returnable due to hygiene implications. Any other item returned soiled will not recieve a refund.

All Returned goods incur a 20% handling fee plus the cost of collection and return to the manufacturer.. Items that are special order i.e. not held in stock cannot be returned unless the manufacturere agrees that it can be returned to them which is at their discretionaccept in the case that goods are faulty.

Guarantee & Warranty

In addition to your statutory rights relating to faulty or mis-discribed goods, all products sold by John Preston & Company come with a minimum of 12 months parts and labour warranty against manufacturing or material faults.Warranties do not cover serviceable itemsor wear and tear such as flat batteries, bulbs, worn or punctured tyres or an annual service and in these instances a call out charge will apply. Damaged fabrics are not covered under warranty unless they have been damaged on delivery and signed for as such.
