Nick joined the company in 1997 having graduated from University of Wales in Modern Languages. Nick is our Commercial Director, he is responsible for the business development and liases with our contacts and suppliers all over the world. Nick is responsible for the coordination of all contractual agreements and tenders.
Carole Forsythe - Office Manager
Carole started with the Company over 20 years ago. Carole is responsible for the management of a very busy Admin department looking after all aspects of Company administration, Human Resources, Quality Management, Invoicing, Customer Care and all functions relating to the daily running of a very busy office.
Kathy Irvine - Admin Dept - Senior Sales Admin
Kathy joined the company at the end of 2007. Kathy is involved in many aspects of the adminstration and customer service activities of the company. Kathy is a key point of contact for our Equipment management and decontamination services customers. Kathy also gives office support to our sales team.
Nicky Craig - Admin Dept - Logistics
Nicky’s roles are many and varied including assisting Carole in the daily administration duties, as well as coordinating the vast number collections and deliveries to and from our suppliers and customers all over the world.
Lynne Murphy - Sales Manager
Lynne has been with John Preston & Co since 2006 and Quickly progressed to Sales Manager. Having graduated from Queens University of Belfast with a Degree in Biological Sciences, Diploma in Genetics and her masters in Woundcare and Tissue Viability. Lynne's acedemic background along with her product knowledge means she spends the majority of her time consulting with, advising and providing training to NHS & HSE contacts. Lynne is also kept busy managing our growing sales team and developing their skills and training to ensure our customers get the very best level of support as well as managing our company websites.
Gemma Campbell - Sales Dept - Sales Support Assistant
Gemma joined us in June 2009 as a temporary maternity cover for Kathy and she fitted in so well we just couldnt let her go and made the position permanent in February 2010. Gemma provides direct admin assistance to the Sales manager and her team. Gemma has a very busy role booking appointments for our team, looking after our retail customers orders and ensuring the sales team has as much office support as possible in order to provide the highest levels of customer service. Gemma is the key contact for all indiviaual reapair and service jobs.
Matthew Fletcher - Sales Dept - Support Technician
Matthew is the newest member of the John Preston team starting with us in March 2010. Matthew is a qualified engineer with a HND in Enginneering National Diploma in Manufacturing & Engineering with CAD/CAM and an NVQ in performin Engineering operations. Matthew is also fully factory trained in our products, matthew is full time service provider in the field with customers doing repair & maintenence work to ensure they get the very best from their Rehabilition products.
Colin Thompson - Sales Dept - Product Specialist
Colin joined the company at the start of 2008. Colin is responsible for the maintenence and development of our client base in the North of Ireland and specialises in Specialist seating. Colin is very popular with the rest of our team as well as his clients and has developed a large client base of Occupational therapists in Northern Ireland.
Gerry Smith - Sales Dept - Product Specialist
Gerry joined the team in 2008 having many years previous experience in the medical equipment industry. Gerry is involved in the promotion and sales of our products in HSE South and HSE Dublin Mid Leinster. Gerry spends most of his time with occupational therapists assisting in the assessment and providing product recommendations to best meet the individual patient's needs.
Harold Lundy - Service Dept - Supervisor
Harry is joint supervisor of the cleansing and decontamination activities and looks after many customers regarding the collection and delivery of equipment. Harry spends most of his time with his key account HSE Louth.
Tony Murray - Service Dept - Supervisor
Tony is joint supervisor of the cleansing and decontamination activities. Tony is involved with supervisor and quality control regarding the delivery, decontamination, maintenance and repair of equipment.
Darren Bushe - Service Dept - Storeman
While many of our products are delivered direct from the factories to our customer we also have storage units in Lisburn and Dublin. Darren looks after all the daily activities involved in the operation of a very busy store to ensure that our customers recieve ther orders as quickly as possible and in perfect condition.
Jonathan Bird - Service Dept - Delivery Driver
While we use carriers for much of our collection and delivery work we also have our own Full-time drivers and fleet of vehicles for local deliveries and collection including the Delivery and collection of community aids and appliances for decontaminaton and recycling. Jonathan delivers and collects goods all over Ireland to ensure our customers get the very best level of service at the most competitive price.
Peter Mc Lellan - West Highland Mobility - Branch Manager
John Preston & company acquired West Highland Mobility, a specialist mobility shop in Oban (Argyll, Scotland) in September 2009. Peter is the branch manager and looks after all the day to day activities required of a busy shop. Peter will welcome and provide all customers to the shop with the very best possible customer service.
