Description
The Li'l Excelerator is a terrific handcycle for children given it's stability and rear brake function - this means your child does not have to take their hands off the hand pedals at any time. They can transfer on and off their handcycle easily and the 7 speed gears means that it performs excellently. It is delivered fully assembled - you only have to attach the rear wheels. The warranty is for 3 years for the frame and we are experts at ensuring you get the right equipment for your child's unique needs. Who is this best suited to? Children and small athletes 42″ to 60”. The handcycle MUST be adjusted to fit the rider.
For a proper fit
- The rider MUST be able to see over the hand crank.
- The rider MUST have a slightly bent elbow when the hand pedals are toward the front of the handcycle (farthest from the rider's face).
- The rider MUST have a 90° bend at the knee when feet are in the footrests.
- Footrests MUST be adjusted to allow a minimum of a 2-inch clearance between the bottom of the footrest and the ground.
- The rider's knees MUST not obstruct hand crank operation. Check the seat position, back height, quick-release threaded axles, footrest height, hand crank height for proper fit and smooth operation of your handcycle.
