Mobitrak Grass Protection for Excavators

New MobiTrak™ lightweight semi-rigid plates are ideal for protecting your grounds from medium tracked and wheeled vehicles or excavators and have been designed for use in graveyards and cemeteries, golf courses & landscaping projects.  These strong mats are placed manually under the tracks or wheels of excavators or heavy vehicles to protect the grass or ground underneath. They are semi rigid so are easier to handle compared to rigid mats and easier to manipulate - particularly useful in cemeteries and graveyards are anywhere that space is at a premium. They have flexible handles so can be moved simply by hand and put into place under vehicles.

Workers can move the Mobitrak plates from the rear of the vehicle to front as it progresses - this limiting expense and cost. They are porous so do not stick to the ground and are easier to manage than HDPE plates. They also contour around the shape of the ground as needed. They are available in the following sizes:

• Small : 1.05 metre wide x 1 metre long plates (these weigh 7.5kg each)
• Large: 1.05 metre wide x 2 metre long plates (these weigh 15kg each)

Typical quantities used

The most common use is with the smaller plates which are extremely easy to use. Workers place one row of Mobitrak under each track of the Excavator. When the Excavator moves forward, the worker takes the Mobitrak plate from the rear and places it in front of the Excavator to allow it to move along. Using the Mobitrak in this way typically requires use of 6 - 8 Mobitrak plates.

The innovative semi-rigid MobiTrak™ plates are made of High Density Polyester and reinforced with composite rods which spread the load of heavy vehicles and reduce rutting. MobiTrak™ supports up to 40 ton load depending on the sub-surface. They are Slip-resistant as the surface of the MobiTrak™ includes ridges that provide impressive grip and traction up to 20% gradient slopes. The High Density Polyester is resistant to:

• Oils
• Hydrocarbons
• UV.
• Temperature range: -40°F to +176°F (-40°C til +80° C).

These plates are 100% recyclable and made of recycled High Density Polyester.. Limited Life-time warranty is included as standard.
