What is a Class III Approved scale?

Class III Approved baby scales are built, tested, verified and calibrated to meet a specific standard set by the NAWI directive. It states all scales ‘used in the determination of mass in the practice of medicine for the purpose of monitoring, diagnosis and medical treatment’ must be Class III Approved. Approved scales are subject to rigorous testing by an EU notified body, which provides assurance to the user of the scales that they are accurate and reliable.

Like most of our portable medical scales, optional carry cases are available for easy transportation. Bluetooth connectivity is available if wish to send weight information wirelessly from the scale to a database. Marsden does not provide software for receiving weight data from your scale. The scale is covered by the Marsden 4 Year Warranty.
