Tomcat Solo Seat

The Tomcat Chair was designed for children and smaller adults with a wide range of special needs, positional and support requirements, coordination and strength limitations or issues such as achondroplasia or cerebral palsy . Ideal for pupils in education, this work-chair is designed to enable the user to sit independently and offers excellent postual support. The Tomcat chair's versatility and wide range of accessories mean the user can use the same chair from Primary School to University. It is also suitable to be adjusted to suit the needs of a different user. Tomcat received the DTI SMART Award for technical innovation of the their Chair.

Available in 3 sizes:

• Small, suitable for table heights 59-65cm, ideal for primary or kindergarten tables
• Medium, suitable for table heights 63-73cm; ideal for school tables and office desks
• Tall, suitable for table heights 76-91cm; such as breakfast bars or lab tables

Key features

• Height and depth adjustable backrest to suit all users between 65-180cm. Enables the user to sit at various heights (workbench, table, high/low desks)
• Backrest comes with tilt mechanism or swan neck bracket for children with restricted growth conditions.
• Enables the user to maintain the correct postural position throughout the day
• The user can sit independently; little or no care assistance required except for set up
• Lateral adjustable arms offer pelvic support and good grip for getting on and off the chair
• 90º swivel seat 
• Adjustable footrest 20 - 25cm.
