Description
TurnSafe2 is an ergonomic and easy-to-use aid for sit-to-stand and transfers with turning. TurnSafe2 has been developed in close cooperation with medical personnel and users and therefore it efficently looks out for the interests of both parties.TurnSafe2 activates and supports users with impaired balance and strength in the legs during transfers from bed to wheelchair or from wheelchair to the toilet.
TurnSafe2 features a large foot plate with an anti-slip surface, adjustable height and lower leg supports which are adjustable both sideways and in height. These features, together with the stable and grip-friendly handle, enable the user to actively participate in the sit-to-stand and transfer.
TurnSafe2 is relatively small and convenient, easy to have close at hand and very easy to rotate and manoeuvre, which makes it useful in most spaces and situations. By keeping one foot on the brake, the caregiver can avoid any unwanted movements while the user is rising up, standing or sitting down. The wheels, and the possibility to easily disassemble TurnSafe2 into three pieces, facilitates both transportation and storage.
